About the Position: Our Revolution, the organization carrying on the legacy of the Bernie 2016 presidential campaign, is seeking an intern to assist the technology team at Our Revolution. The Web Development Intern will help develop and maintain digital tools and programs to aid Our Revolution’s mission to create a more socially, environmentally, economically, and racially equitable nation through progressive advocacy around the country and will learn about technology, web development, and progressive organizing on a large scale. The Web Development Intern will serve a key role in helping build and maintain Our Revolution’s growing suite of digital tools and programs to help the national organization, local groups and volunteers win the progressive battles ahead.
Special Requirements/Qualifications:
- Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program
- Full-stack web experience
- Basic SQL knowledge
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and Javascript
- Familiarity with Python and Django is preferred but not required
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and frameworks
- Knowledge and experience contributing to open source software
- Knowledge and experience with volunteer programs, including those not related to technology
- Strong alignment to Our Revolution mission and platform
Estimated Salary: $15/hour, 10-20 hours/week
