Working at the critical intersection of health and housing, we provide free critical home repairs, safety modifications and energy-efficient improvements for low-income seniors, families, veterans and disabled individuals. Our work preserves healthy, safe, and affordable housing, facilitates comfortable aging-in-place, and enhances quality of life.

About the Position: Rebuilding Together Valley of the Sun’s internship program provides emerging philanthropy leaders with the opportunity to develop a diverse skill set while helping to create safe, healthy and comfortable places to call home for Arizona seniors, veterans and families. Working in the health and human service sector, interns will expand their knowledge of the entire philanthropic process and develop experience by collaborating with the RTVOS team. Through various department duties, teamwork and special projects, interns will have fun and accomplish their learning objectives in a creative and energetic environment. Internships are available for fall and spring semesters. Schedule and number of hours per week (10-20) is negotiable.

Special Requirements/Qualifications: Candidates must be a current college student and 18 years of age or older. Organizational skills, the ability to perform multiple tasks and work with diverse groups of people is important. Computer proficiency in Microsoft Excel is needed. Social media proficiency is highly desired.

Estimated Salary: $11 per hour
