About the Position: The Analyst, Homeless Children and Youth Program (HCYP) will support three focus areas outlined by the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act (MKV): (1) identify homeless children and youth; (2) ensure homeless children and youth are immediately enrolled, and parents/guardians/unaccompanied youth are advised of their rights and are provided with services; and (3) identify and remove any barriers that may cause difficulties in the educational success of homeless children and youth. The Analyst, HCYP will work collaboratively with the HCYP Specialist to provide training, technical assistance, and individualized support to parents, students, school-based homeless liaisons, central office and school staff, and the community to ensure that students experiencing homelessness receive the same rigorous academic program as their peers. This includes a wide range of duties for customer service support, including responding to inquiries regarding services provided by the HCYP, enrollment rights of students experiencing homelessness as outlined by MKV, supporting programmatic operations and administrative needs, data collection and analysis, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to meet program goals.
