About the Position: Farmer Foodshare seeks a part-time (15-20 hours per week) Wholesale Market Operations Associate to provide efficient administrative support for all aspects of Farmer Foodshare’s Wholesale Market. For the right candidate this position could become fulltime. This position requires flexibility in scheduling and reports to the Wholesale Market Operations Coordinator. The Wholesale Market Operations Associate is expected to be a high-integrity, high-energy team player, dedicated to operational excellence and business growth inside Farmer Foodshare. Special Requirements/Qualifications: • Flexible, both in hours of availability and in willingness to work within a dynamic program
• A willingness and ability to learn new software as necessary. Must be tech-savvy and comfortable with Microsoft Excel and Word; Local Food Marketplace and Quickbooks a plus
• Detail oriented with creative problem-solving skills, initiative, and the ability to make smart decisions on your feet
• Farm or produce handling experience preferred
• An ability to communicate with tact and respect to people from all walks of life
• A passion for building a social enterprise that connects people who grow food with people and agencies that want healthy fresh food
• An upbeat, positive team player who will go the extra mile and contribute to growing Farmer Foodshare overall, as well as the Wholesale Market program
• Basic math skills
• An ability to lift 50 pounds

Estimated Salary: $12.00 – $15.00 per hour
