About the Organization: CCER is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 2010 to staff and support the Road Map Project—a collective impact initiative to improve student achievement from cradle through college and career in seven King County, Washington school districts: Auburn, Federal Way, Highline, Kent, Renton, (South) Seattle, and Tukwila. Through multisector collaboration with hundreds of organizations and individuals, the Road Map Project aims to increase equitable policies and practices in education systems to eliminate opportunity and achievement gaps, and for 70 percent of the region’s youth to earn a college degree or career credential by 2030.

About the Position: The Research Analyst will work closely with the Research Director and Data Science Senior Fellow on original research for a variety of improvement initiatives. The Research Analyst will provide measurement expertise and statistical skills supporting CCER staff, community members, K12 districts, colleges, improvement networks, and other the Road Map Project partners.

Special Requirements/Qualifications: R E Q U I R E M E N T S
• A deep understanding of the challenges and barriers faced by communities around ethnicity, race, class, and gender, as well as a commitment to improving outcomes for low-income youth and families
• Strong demonstrated quantitative analytical skills, with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• Knowledge of advanced statistics and demonstrated experience using statistical packages for analyzing large datasets (SQL, Python, R, STATA, SAS, LISRL, SPSS, etc.), including the ability to conduct nested models and construct validity testing
• Strong communications, writing, and presentation skills, including the ability to present complex information in an understandable and compelling manner for school- and community-based audiences
• Strong personal commitment to racial equity and experience working in partnership with, by and for communities of color

D E S I R E D Q U A L I F I C A T I O N S
• Demonstrated proficiency with SQL querying and manipulating data in relational database systems
• Demonstrated proficiency in data science methodologies
• Demonstrated proficiency using Tableau to generate complex visualizations
• Proclivity to solve data and measurement challenges
• Background in the field of education or childhood development
• Experience conducting literature reviews to inform analytic approaches
• Bilingual or multilingual

Estimated Salary: $60,000 – $75,000 annually, depending on experience. Excellent benefits package
