About the Organization: Stand Up Placer provides comprehensive services to Placer County survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking and their non-offending family members. Our mission is to save lives by empowering survivors and educating communities to stand up to domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking.
About the Position: The Human Trafficking Services Coordinator supervises the human trafficking services team, provides training to the staff, coordinates with community partners and is responsible for daily operations at the human trafficking drop-in center. Supervision of the HT drop-in center will be to ensure that the facility is staffed at all time, resources are available and programs are in place. The HT Coordinator will work to enhance existing services and develop new programming to support survivors. This position will participate in multi-disciplinary county meetings to coordinate comprehensive county response systems, develop protocols based on best practices and ensure that survivors are receiving trauma-informed services. Special Requirements/Qualifications:
• Either a BA/BS degree in psychology, social science, or a related field and at least 1 year of experience working with the human trafficking population OR a combination of three years education and experience OR a person with lived experience relating to this position
• At least one year previous leadership experience
• Ability to address crises and use critical thinking to problem-solve effectively
• Ability to work sensitively with traumatized and diverse populations
• Reliable transportation, valid California Driver’s License and proof of insurance
• Bilingual preferred
