About the Position: HOM’s Project Management Assistant is responsible for performing a variety of highly-skilled administrative and project management-related functions. The Project Management Assistant is an innovative thinker and problem-solver, and quintessential team player, who is highly organized and dedicated to producing quality work. The Project Management Assistant possesses excellent oral and written communication skills, is meticulous with details and enjoys adapting to a rapidly changing environment.
Special Requirements/Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree required, in Non-Profit Management, Project Management or English preferred
Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct work of staff or independent contractors
Advanced analytical, math, and computer skills
Advanced verbal and written communication skills and customer service orientation
Strong working knowledge of the concepts and practices within the fields of commercial real estate and/or affordable housing development, and mid- to large-scale project management
Must have reliable transportation, California driver’s license, and proof of insurance if applicable; must be willing and able to travel to any HOM location
Ability to understand the problems and issues facing families from a variety of ethnic and economic communities
Estimated Salary: $20,800 per year (based on 20 hours per week)
