Details and Requirements: The Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) is a regional economic development agency that represents a partnership of federal, state, and local government. ARC’s mission is to be a strategic partner and advocate for sustainable community and economic development in Appalachia. This position supports entrepreneurial and business development strategies such as business financing (loan funds, investment funds, Community Development Financial Institutions [CDFIs]), business accelerators / incubators, entrepreneurial education and training, business technical assistance, and local food systems, which strengthen Appalachia’s economy. By applying expertise in these areas, the incumbent will offer analysis and technical assistance to entrepreneur support and business development organizations. A bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field is required. Salary: ARC’s grade NF 9-13 is equivalent to the federal grade GS 9-13.
