About the Organization: Future Leaders in Action works to cultivate the next generation of social sector leaders by placing fellows with youth nonprofits to implement youth enrichment programs. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Iowa creates and sustains meaningful, monitored mentoring relationships between adult volunteers (Bigs) and children (Littles) between the ages of 5 and 18.
About the Position: You will create and implement a volunteer recruitment plan for the fellowship to increase the number of volunteers to ensure more youth are served through BBBSCI’s program Identify event engagement opportunities with potential volunteers, create a volunteer recruitment presentation for local community partners, attend pre-fellowship training retreat in Chicago, IL from May 20-25, 2019 (expenses covered), and fundraise $500 (with guidance from FLIA)

Estimated Salary: $575/week
