About the Organization: Lone Star Victims Advocacy Project provides advocacy, education, and free legal services for immigrant victims of abuse. By improving the resources available to abused immigrants, we can empower victims to leave abusers and reduce the amount of domestic violence in rural Texas communities.
About the Position: Provide direct victim services to immigrant survivors of abuse, conduct outreach, presentations and trainings in rural Texas communities.
Special Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bilingual English/Spanish reading/writing/speaking required;
- Two years office experience;
- Experience working with women, immigrants, families a plus;
- Experience in legal setting a plus.
Estimated Salary: $35,000 – $40,000 + full benefits and vacation time. Generally informal work setting.
