About the Organization: Run Hope Work is a non-profit, pre-apprenticeship programming affording at-risk young adults aged 20-24 years old the opportunity to enhance their earnings potential by developing the skills necessary to be successful job candidates.
About the Position: As the Run Hope Work Program Coordinator you will undertake a variety of administrative and program management tasks. You will help in planning and organizing programs and activities as well as carry out important operational duties. The Program Coordinator’s main goal will be to facilitate the effective management of Run, Hope, and Work programming tracks according to Run Hope Work’s standards.
Special Requirements/Qualifications:
- To be an excellent program coordinator, you must be organized and detail-oriented, comfortable working with diverse and multi-disciplinary teams.
- If you have further skills in program development and human resources support, you’re an ideal candidate.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid Driver License, no more than 3 active points
Estimated Salary: $16 – $18 per hour (DOE) + benefits. Note: Dr. Amy K. Glasmeier at MIT estimates the living wage in the District of Columbia to be $17.02 hourly
