About the Organization: Road to Hire is a non profit organization focused on economic mobility in the greater Charlotte area. We place 18-25 year old individuals in a paid 3 month program where we teach professional development through one of two tracks; Sales and Leadership or Tech. Upon graduating the program, we help students with job placement in the Charlotte area.
About the Position: We are looking for an intern to build curriculum for professional development, create assessments for Road to Hire classes, preparing curriculum and class audits and ongoing research for career placement partnerships. We are flexible with class schedules and are preferably looking for a Junior or Senior college student as this role has the potential to turn into a hire. Special Requirements/Qualifications: We are looking for an individual with a passion for educating and economic mobility. The desire to work in a diverse environment, humor, proactive communication, the desire for feedback and setting goals are just a few of the important qualities we are looking for in a candidate.
Estimated Salary: $10/hour, 20 hours/week
