State Infrastructure Fund (SIF)’s mission is to increase civic engagement and protect voting rights among communities of color and other historically underrepresented communities by funding networks of local leaders and state based-nonpartisan organizations who effectively engage their communities and work with national and state litigation organizations to protect the right to vote.
About the Position: This is a 15 hour/week part-time position based in NEO Philanthropy’s New York City offices from September 2018 through May 2019. The Data Assistant will support the State Infrastructure Fund by providing fund administrative support, fundraising, data and payment processing. This position will be supervised by SIF’s Program Manager.
Special Requirements/Qualifications:
- Demonstrated data-entry and data auditing skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
- Self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team; Willingness to jump in and be a team player.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience with Salesforce a plus.
Estimated Salary: $20/ hour, 15 hours/week
