About the Organization: Founded in 1999 by legendary American singer and painter, Tony Bennett, and his wife, Susan Benedetto, a former public school teacher, Exploring the Arts (ETA) is a 501c3 nonprofit organization located in New York City. ETA’s mission is to transform the lives of young people by working collaboratively with public high schools to help them build sustainable, high-quality arts programs with strategic planning and funding support. ETA partners with public high schools that serve high need student populations with limited access to arts education and currently works with 28 Partner Schools in NYC and 10 in Los Angeles. ETA’s work includes a highly-valued internship program whereby students work directly with NYC art organizations and cultural institutions.
About the Position: ETA is experiencing programmatic growth that requires additional administrative and development support. The Administrative & Development Assistant will work primarily with ED Cheri Walsh and Director of Development & Communications, Karin Venegas, but will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic staff in the organization’s NYC and LA offices. This is a part-time position (20 hours/week. Three days per week, which need to include Wednesday and Friday). This position does not include health benefits.

Estimated Salary: $21,000/year, 20 hours/week. This works out to $20.19 hourly.
