About the Organization: Aiken Barnwell Mental Health Center (ABMHC) is a community mental health center providing behavioral health services to families, adults and children who are diagnosed with a mental illness. Intervention, prevention and recovery services may include: Assessment, Therapy, Care-Coordination, Psychosocial Rehabilitation, Peer Support & Community Collaboration. ABMHC is an outpatient facility of the South Carolina Department of Mental Health. ABMHC aspires to be the premier provider of behavioral services to support the recovery of families, adults and children living in the rural communities of Aiken and Barnwell counties.
About the Position: 1. Provides administrative activities for housing programs (Homeshare and Community Housing) which includes placement, resolution of issues, contracts, housing agreements and any required documentation/paperwork.
2. Ensures provision of safe, effective and evidenced based mental health care that can be defined and measured through data collection and utilization of outcome measures. Demonstrates fiscal responsibility and accountability to include compliance with corporate compliance plan.
3. Ensures the provision of quality customer service to stakeholders including the pursuing new and better ways of serving stakeholders.
4. Increases partnerships with local and regional organization/agencies to effectively meet the needs of the community as well as to increase the public’s awareness of mental health issues, treatment and access to treatment.
Special Requirements/Qualifications: Required: Bachelor’s degree and relevant program experience.
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in business or social science and one (1) year of experience in counseling and /or behavior modification program.
Estimated Salary: $32,838.00 – $60,760.00 annually, Benefits.
