Details and Requirements: The Massachusetts Housing Partnership (MHP), a non-profit public agency, is a national leader in affordable housing finance and development, and a primary lender in Massachusetts for the financing of affordable and mixed-income rental housing. With a rapidly growing portfolio of multifamily loans, we are seeking an individual with strong organizational and database skills to join our lending team. The Lending Assistant will provide direct administrative, analytical, and technical support to the lending team working collaboratively with existing administrative staff. Responsibilities will include helping to manage the loan funding process with MHP’s banks, Fannie Mae and FHA, maintaining MHP’s lending databases, providing underwriting support for the loan officers, preparing credit analyses for distribution to MHP’s loan committee and board of directors, tracking goals performance, and providing additional administrative and technical support to the lending team. Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have advanced computer skills using Microsoft Word and Excel, experience with database management and reporting, strong organizational, writing and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience or a demonstrated interest in affordable housing is a plus. Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Salary + benefits
