Details and Requirements:

The Center for Public Policy Priorities (CPPP) is an independent public policy organization that uses data and analysis to advocate for solutions that enable Texans of all backgrounds to reach their full potential.

Required qualifications:

• A bachelor’s or a master’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or a related field and/or at least 2 years of professional experience in communications, journalism, public relations, or a related field
• Understanding of video production, including basic camera setup, editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Media Encoder or similar)
• Knowledge of file formats
• Knowledge of front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, or JavaScript + web design software

Bonus qualifications (not required):

• Familiarity with graphic design programs, especially Adobe Creative Suite
• Knowledge of FTP software
• Knowledge of operating a Lumix GH4 or similar camera for still pictures / video production
