Details and Requirements: The Center for Study of Responsive Law was founded by Ralph Nader in 1968. One of the Center’s primary goals is to empower citizens, focusing on a variety of environmental, consumer and worker health and safety issues. Support progressive citizen campaigns on vital issues. Areas of focus include: raising the minimum wage, instituting a financial transaction tax, challenging excessive executive compensation, promoting corporate accountability, advancing consumer protection, and more. Tasks include: coordinating media outreach, scheduling, conducting research for weekly columns, editing and fact-checking books, reports and articles, conducting daily research and information gathering, planning and organizing events, and office support tasks as needed. 10am-7pm shift, M-F. Salary starts at $40,000. 2-year position (with potential for longer service), 2 weeks paid vacation, medical insurance (excluding dental and vision), annual bonus.
