Details and Requirements: Shades of Green is a sustainable landscape design and installation firm based in the Southeast, with offices in Atlanta, GA and Asheville, NC. We design and build productive and vibrant landscapes that provide organic food, thriving habitats, herbal medicine, natural beauty, healthy and chemical-free soils, and water sovereignty. Join a woman-owned business, and work with a team of amazing, clever, and fun folks, changing how land is managed in the southeast and beyond! We are seeking a Design Assistant to help convey big visions to clients large and small. The ideal candidate has a graphic design background with extensive experience in hand-rendering (landscape) graphics, and formatting in Photoshop and InDesign. The position will include inking, rendering, and formatting permaculture landscape designs, to support the Design Team. This position is 20-30 hours a week, $12-15/hr plus. Design work must be done in the office located in Pine Lake, Georgia. The ideal candidate is: great at managing their time and internal deadlines, efficient, able to work on a team and take direction, has immaculate attention to detail and most importantly, believes in healthy food, useful and native plants, and water independence, one landscape at a time.
