Details and Requirements: 100Kin10 unites 280 of the nation’s top academic institutions, nonprofits, foundations, companies, and government agencies to address the nation’s STEM teacher shortage. Together, we are tackling the systemic challenges to getting and keeping great STEM teachers in classrooms nationwide. This position will play a key role on the Strategic Initiatives Team by growing the knowledge base underlying the Grand Challenges and supporting the work to develop and test our hypotheses about how to effect change. This work will include tracking progress against the Grand Challenges and monitoring trends across a broad range of relevant content, such as STEM, education, social innovation, and systemic change. (S)he will synthesize information across all of these areas to help direct the goals and work of the Strategic Initiatives Team. Qualifications: Relevant experience in STEM education, education research, or social innovation; Demonstrated knowledge base and passion for the STEM education field; Affinity for social innovation, systems change, and background in experience design preferred.
