Details and Requirements: Qualifications: Enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program in public policy, business, engineering, economics, energy and natural resources, environmental studies, or a related field; Strong computer skills and willingness to learn new database systems and platforms; Background in or general knowledge of basic principles of electricity systems, electricity markets, utility ownership models, and policy and regulatory frameworks; Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work and communicate with teams from different countries. Furthermore, there will an opportunity for the intern to spend up to 20 percent of their time conducting research in line with the work of EEI International Programs as it relates to their field of study. Internship candidates must be able to commit to 6-12 weeks between June–September. Internships are available on a part-time or full-time basis and are based at EEI headquarters in Washington, DC.
