Environmental Health Trainee for Program on Health, Equity and Sustainability at San Francisco Department of Public Health

Details and Requirements: Under the direction of Epidemiologists in the Program on Health, Equity and Sustainability, this position will support data acquisition and cleaning, literature reviews, data analyses including mapping, and data requests and reporting for Vision Zero and Environmental Health ~ Required: College degree with major course work in public health, public administration, business administration, health, environmental or mental health sciences, city planning or a closely related field ~ Desired: Experience using statistical software (i.e., SAS, Stata, R); ArcGIS analysis and mapping experience; Experience analyzing transportation-related injury data; Experience with report writing of findings of bivariate and multivariate analyses and practical implications for public health; Interest in interdisciplinary practice – particularly public health, transportation, and city planning. $20.08/hr. The duration of the position shall not exceed 27 months.
