About the Organization: WCC is a non-profit community mental health clinic in South Los Angeles. We serve a clientele that includes victims of sex trafficking and domestic violence and people that are reentering the community after incarceration. We offer groups for people suffering from grief and loss and for those that have been impacted by cancer.
About the Position: Westmont Counseling Center is looking for an associate MFT, ASW or PCC to work as a therapist for individuals, teens, families & couples and facilitate groups. This is a paid position with individual and group supervision. The Associate must be available to work some evenings and/or weekends and be available Tuesdays at 6:00 PM for supervision and staff meetings. The position will start at less than 10 hours per week but grow with the potential for close to full time work. The positions will likely start in February 2019.
Special Requirements/Qualifications: The successful applicant will have a strong sense of social justice and a desire to work with the underserved. Candidates should also have counseling experience, the ability to complete notes and reports professionally and on time, and the ability to listen to and empathize with their clients. Professional references required. People of Color and Spanish speakers are encouraged to apply.
Estimated Salary: $15 – $30/hour
