CI’s Betty and Gordon Moore Center for Science in Conservation International’s (CI) Rapid Assessment Program (RAP) conducts short expeditions in critically important field sites around the world to evaluate the state of a region’s biodiversity, the health of its ecosystems and the multiple benefits that nature provides to people.
CI is seeking candidates for a Rapid Assessment Program (RAP) Internship.
For this position:
- Strong proficiency in science writing, including up to date familiarity with current literature, and a background in ecology/biodiversity is preferred.
- Further skills in conservation, environmental science, natural resource management, GIS or related fields is preferred, but not required.
- Experience with eDNA or similar genetic approaches for biodiversity surveys and-or movement ecology are preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in Spanish as well as photography skills are preferred but not required.
