Details and Requirements: Do you have the passion to educate your community and help them navigate the rapidly changing immigration and legal system? The Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services (RAICES) is a non-profit organization that provides free and low-cost legal services to under-served immigrant children, families and refugees. We are looking for a bilingual legal assistant to support a new attorney in our Austin office. All case work will be new. You will meet with clients in-person, gather data and prepare translations. If you have immigration law experience, even better; You have excellent English and Spanish verbal and written skills. You are comfortable engaging in community outreach.
