SolarCorps Fellows – Construction; Outreach; Workforce Development at GRID Alternatives

Details and Requirements: For all positions: Fellows will get training and supervision from GRID Alternatives’ regional staff. Fellows will gain a broad range of skills and experience to qualify for a range of different renewable energy and nonprofit careers, while helping under-resourced families receive solar services from GRID Alternatives. Monthly pay is $2400 plus other benefits. Locations – California: San Diego, Los Angeles, Riverside, Fresno, Chico, Sacramento, Oakland, Willits, Salinas, Atascadero; Colorado – Denver, and Washington DC

Construction: We are seeking a full-time SolarCorps Construction Fellow to engage with the construction team in solar PV installation. These fellows will gain a broad range of skills and experience to qualify for a range of different solar construction careers, while helping other job trainees do the same. Monthly pay is $2400 plus other benefits.

Outreach: We are seeking a full-time SolarCorps Outreach Fellow to engage with the outreach team and help implement outreach strategy to increase number of low-income clients served in regional counties.

Workforce Development: We are seeking a full-time SolarCorps Workforce and Volunteer Fellow to engage with the workforce and volunteer team to support GRID’s workforce development initiatives.
