Details and Requirements: The East Asian Studies Center (EASC) serves as USC’s principal organization for dedicated leadership, coordination and support for the growing interdisciplinary education, research activity and community outreach concerning East Asia. EASC actively seeks out external funding to support programming on East Asia at USC which has allows us to award USC students and faculty through our various fellowships to study and conduct research in East Asia and to send undergraduates each summer to study abroad in China, Japan and/or Korea through our scholarship summer study abroad program. In addition, we organize and sponsor numerous events throughout the year including international conferences, film screenings, speaker’s series, teacher training workshops and other professional development seminars.
