Details and Requirements: NAMI Seattle is seeking an engaging and personable Volunteer & Resource Coordinator to serve as the point of contact for volunteers as they grow in their role as mental health champions. Our peer-led, volunteer-run programs are the heart of our organization, and we are excited to find the right person to help us build this brand-new position. You are a great candidate if… You are comfortable speaking in front of groups of up to 100 people, picking up the phone and calling people you have never met, and interacting with people who might be experiencing mental health symptoms; You are passionate about the ways mental health intersects with other lived experiences and identities, and you bring an anti-bias and intersectional lens to the work that you do; You are able to find fun and humor in your daily work, and enjoy being part of a team that cares personally about each other. Preferred Qualifications: Fluency or proficiency in a non-English language; Experience (paid or volunteer) in a nonprofit setting; Experience working with a diverse community; Existing graphic design skills, or a willingness to develop these skills in order to create engaging and attractive materials and resources. Salary: $35,000/year
