Details and Requirements: Government Relations/Policy: Bachelor’s degree in public policy, government relations, foreign policy, international relations or a similar subject; Public policy and government relations experience related to U.S. foreign policy and international development. Strong analytical, writing, proofing/editing and communication skills are required

Outreach: Bachelor’s degree in political science, public policy, international relations or another related field; Experience in a political campaign and/or issue-advocacy setting; Strong knowledge of international relations as well as a demonstrated ability to organize high-level individuals in advocacy efforts; Demonstrated ability to draft language that effectively communicates complex issues to a broad audience; Ability to proactively engage prominent leaders in the political, business, faith-based, military, academic, and civic communities.

Communications: Experience in communications, public relations, digital, or related work; Proven experience with data manipulation in Excel is highly desirable; Proficiency with desktop and web publishing software, specifically WordPress and Adobe Creative Suite; basic HTML skills desirable; Experience with constituent databases such as Convio and Salesforce is desirable; Strong collaboration skills; experience working with people from diverse backgrounds; A flexible team player who shares responsibility and credit; Campaign or political experience is desirable.
