Details and Requirements: EarthRights International (ERI) is an NGO with offices in Washington D.C., Thailand, Peru, and Myanmar. ERI combines the power of law and the power of people in defense of human rights and the environment, which we define as “earth rights”. We specialize in fact-finding, legal actions against perpetrators of earth rights abuses, training grassroots and community leaders, and advocacy campaigns.
Required: Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Demonstrated work experience for at least one year in an office environment (full-time employment or relevant internship) or one cycle on a political campaign; Demonstrated interest in learning about fundraising/development or nonprofit management; Background in human rights, environmental, international, and/or development issues (either through education, volunteer, or work/internship experience). ~ Preferred: Experience with donor databases and/or constituent management systems (e.g. Salesforce, CiviCRM, DemocracyInAction, GiftWorks, DonorPerfect); Experience with finance software (Quickbooks, Excel) and producing simple financial reports; Fluency or proficiency in Spanish.
