Details and Requirements: • Political Operations: This is an entry-level position on the Customer Service team. This person will be responsible for helping with the initial ActBlue account onboarding for many different types of organizations and ensuring that the disbursement of funds to the organizations that use our tools is carried out efficiently. The successful candidate must be detail-oriented with an analytical eye. This position involves handling sensitive financial information, so discretion and good judgment are a necessity.
• Marketing: This is an entry-level position on the Marketing Team, perfect for someone who is passionate about both politics and marketing, and who is willing to learn a lot on the job. The Marketing Assistant will help write, edit, and publish content, assist in managing multiple communication platforms, work on strategy with the rest of the team, and research and report back on the online activism space. The ideal candidate will be incredibly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple small projects at once without dropping any balls. They will also be passionate and enthusiastic about politics and about our mission of helping small-dollar donors.
• State Outreach: The Outreach Team is the primary point of contact and welcome wagon for all new campaigns and organizations that we partner with. We attract new groups and train them to use ActBlue’s tools for grassroots fundraising. Amazing candidates are jumping into local and state races every single day, looking to create change in their communities, and you will focus on these races with a strategic eye towards 2020 redistricting. You will be responsible for bringing on new campaigns as well as strengthening our relationship with groups we already work with by helping them build successful digital fundraising programs. We are particularly interested in candidates who have familiarity with state and local politics in the Midwest or Western states.
