Details and Requirements: SHLB is looking for a go-getter who is enthusiastic about his or her job, is comfortable working in a small office while interacting with members all across the U.S. A positive attitude is extremely important. The ideal candidate will bring an entrepreneurial attitude to a non-profit, public interest organization. The skills will require both a willingness to take on challenges and develop new approaches while also working for others. The policy positions and content can be acquired on the job, but the following knowledge and skills are needed to apply: Bachelor’s degree in communications or relevant field; HTML and CSS skills desired; Experience working in Adobe Illustrator; Familiarity with membership databases, such as YourMembership desired. Familiarity with the broadband industry and technology is preferable. One to three years’ work experience is also preferred but can be substituted for specific college classes such as graphic design, writing, computer science, etc. SALARY $38,000-$45,000
