Details and Requirements: The Justice Program is seeking a full-time Research & Program Associate (RPA) to join a cutting edge inter-disciplinary team working to end mass incarceration in the United States. The ideal candidate will be a college graduate with 1-3 years of research experience who is considering a career in law, public policy, economics, or social science. Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree (Lawyers and those with advanced degrees will not be considered.); Experience in criminal justice economics, or statistics are a plus; Ability to think creatively about how to obtain data, analyze it, and persuasively present it to an audience; Experience using Stata to manipulate and analyze large datasets; Superb statistical and quantitative research skills, ability to quickly conduct research and obtain hard to find data, and creativity and perseverance in finding required data and information; Strong writing skills, including the ability to succinctly translate jargon into accessible prose for lay audiences.
