Details and Requirements: Bachelor’s degree; demonstrated enthusiasm for public interest legal work; ability to interact with low income clients, volunteer attorneys and government employees. A minimum commitment of two years is expected. Start date will be mid-June. CBJC’s Veterans Assistance Project (VAP) provides disabled, low-income veterans in New York City with pro bono legal assistance on issues related to their claims for service-connected disability compensation from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
