Details and Requirements: BA/BS degree/equivalent with office experience, preferably with scholarly journals. We are seeking a Peer Review Assistant to provide administrative support for our peer review team. This individual will work closely with the Peer Review Specialists and Managers in processing manuscripts for three peer-reviewed journals. Candidates should be able to handle a high level of detail and complexity, and be capable of recognizing nuance and exercising judgment, while not being shy to consult with other staff as needed. We are a highly collaborative team, looking for someone who is communicative, interested in learning, has a serious work ethic and is easy to work with. The successful candidate will work remotely, but needs to be based in the Ithaca area and be available for training and staff meetings in Ithaca on a regular basis.
